In a candid conversation hosted by Timo Hämäläinen of Plentics, Aki Stolt, Head of Products at Praecom, shed light on the transformative role that Plentics’ multi-customer, cross-tenant Azure solution has played in their IT operations. The discussion provided an insightful look into how Praecom has leveraged Plentics to enhance efficiency and scalability in device management using Microsoft Intune.

Founded in 2007 as Neukkari Oy, Praecom rebranded itself in 2013 to reflect its evolving role in the ICT sector. Today, the company employs 70 professionals and specializes in managed IT solutions for businesses of all sizes.

The Shift to Intune and Plentics

Praecom began its journey with Microsoft Intune and Plentics Suite in 2020, a pivotal move to improve their management of customer devices. Stolt revealed that Plentics was the first choice, selected to address the challenges of managing multiple tenants effectively. “We needed a solution to enrich Intune,” Stolt shared. “Plentics made it possible to scale our services while automating key processes.”

Plentics’ Key Features: A Game-Changer

One standout feature, according to Stolt, is Tenant Cloning [available in Tenant Management]. “With this, we’ve created a template tenant containing settings that apply to 90% of our customers,” he explained. “This allows us to onboard new customers—big or small—within just 30 minutes.”

Another highlight is Tenant Analytics, which offers a centralized view of critical metrics like license usage and security scores. “The insights are invaluable for both operations and decision-making,” Stolt added.

Praecom’s experience with Plentics has been overwhelmingly positive. Stolt praised the Plentics team for their responsiveness and commitment to innovation. “Whenever we’ve had unique needs or challenges, Plentics has listened and provided solutions that enable us to scale effectively,” he said.

When asked what advice he would give to other service providers considering Plentics, Stolt didn’t hesitate. “If you’re not using something like Plentics already—though I’m not sure anything else like it exists—you should try it. It’s a must-have if you want to scale your business.”
